IT'S NOT JUST FOR HEADACHES ANYMORE....
Do you have trouble skin? Scattered pimples or a patch in one area? Or maybe you have red irritated skin?
I have a solution for you. ASPIRIN. Yes, regular NON coated Aspirin. And no, I don't want you to start popping pills...I want you to start crushing 'em!
Take about 5 or 6 regular NON coated Aspirin and put them in a spoon 2 at a time. Now take another spoon and press the back of that spoon on top of the Aspirin, carefully crushing them to a fine powder. Pour the contents onto a piece of paper and repeat with the rest of the pills.
Wash your face, and gently pat dry it, it's ok if it's slightly damp. Pour the powder from the paper into the palm of your hand and add just a FEW drops of water to it to create a paste. (another, much neater method is to pour the powder into a shot glass and add the water in there. Then use a small skinny rubber spatula...I got a mini one at the dollar store, and use that as your tool to get it out of the shot glass). Now apply this paste as a mask all over your face or just to affected areas. Whatever works best for your problem. Leave it on for about 10 minutes. But try not to move your face or talk too much cuz you'll notice that as the mask dries, small particles of powder will begin to fall all over you. So your best bet is to lay down for 10 minutes and just enjoy yourself. (We could all use a 10 minute break, right?!)
Wash the mask off after the time is up. You'll notice that this doubles as a gentle exfoliator as well while you're rinsing off, removing dry dead skin off the surface of your face,
Rinse completely off and moisturize.....with Olive Oil of course!
The active ingredient in Aspirin is Acetylsalicylic acid, which is an anti inflammatory medication, so this will help reduce the redness of the pimples and irritated skin. Making it less noticeable and smaller in size. For those of you who have been to a dermatologist or read the labels on acne products, you know that Salicylic Acid is a common remedy for acne. But these products can be expensive and can cause more damage and irritation instead of actually helping.
You can buy a store brand bottle of 500 NON coated Aspirin for about $3-$4 bucks!! Using 6 Aspirins at a time....that's over 83 mask applications!!! And you really only need to use this about 2 or 3 times a week (depending on your skin condition) So just 1 bottle will last you about a year! No 1 acne product containing Salicylic Acid will last you that long...EVER! The amount of money you'll save is ridiculous.
So, use the Olive Oil method and follow with the Aspirin method for a much cheaper, safer and more natural way to treat acne, and keep a clear complexion.
(make sure your not leaving the bottle around the sink if you have small children! ) lol
Good luck!
XOXOXO
JOJO
